The layer in between
Trackers tell you your heart rate hit 118. Meditation apps tell you to breathe. Pauser sits between the two: it explains why your heart rate moved, and prompts the right Pause at the right moment.
Your heart rate is one of the most honest signals your body produces. When you face pressure — a deadline, a difficult conversation, standing up too fast — your autonomic nervous system shifts into a stress response, and your heart can speed up before you consciously notice anything is wrong.
That makes heart rate a useful early signal. A rising number isn’t the problem itself; it’s a message. The question that matters is what the message is about — and that is exactly what most devices leave out.
Tracking tells you what changed. Understanding tells you why, and what to do about it. Pauser is built for the second part.
The Pauser journey
It closes the loop between signal and meaning: it senses a change in your heart rate, surrounds that change with real-life context, prompts a timely Pause, and shows you the pattern over time.
Pauser supports general wellbeing, stress awareness and self-regulation. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition.
Available on iOS and Android devices.
